Welcome to Ballinclea Heights Residents Association's web site.
Almost two hundred families live at Ballinclea Heights. Many have been living here for over twenty years, some for over thirty. This has resulted in a friendly neighbourly community.
Ballinclea Heights overlooks Dublin Bay, is located close to Dun Laoghaire, and is about a twenty minute drive from the mountains of Wicklow.
Local amenities include good local schools, nearby shopping centres, attractive walks, a variety of local sports clubs, and easy access to the DART.
Ballinclea Park is an important recreational facility in the centre of Ballinclea Heights. In 1998 the potential of the Park to benefit local communities was greatly enhanced as a result of the demolition of the old reservoir and basic landscaping of the area. BHRA is working very hard to ensure that the full amenity value of the new Park is realised for the benefit of local communities.
As in many communities, events need to be organised, representations made, and local issues addressed. Recent developments and current BHRA activities are discussed in our newsletter. We also have an online discussion group that residents are most welcome to join.
Our useful links page provides links to local history pages, DLRCoCo, many community organisations, and other pages of local interest. A separate page provides a map of Ballinclea Heights showing house numbers.
DLRCoCo Development Plan
DLRCoCo adopted the Development Plan for the period 2004 - 2010 in March 2004. An important feature of the plan is the zoning of Ballinclea Park as Open Space. Information about the plan is provided on our Development Plan page.
