residents@ballincleaheights.org is a moderated mailing list that facilitates discussions amongst the residents of Ballinclea Heights.
List membership is open to residents and friends of Ballinclea Heights. Each member of a household is welcome to join. The email addresses of list members do not appear on postings to the list. However, if you post a message to the list your email address will appear on that posting.
All emails are moderated before being published on the site. The moderator will attempt to review and issue emails as quickly as possible.
The mailing list is reserved for the circulation of:
- Notices from the Committee;
- Planning notices;
- Neighbourhood Watch information;
- Local news items, such as beware of black ice in the estate etc.
- Requests of the type: 'anybody know a plumber' and responses to such postings.
The moderator reserves the right not to post messages which fall within the following categories: offensive or inappropriate language or content, failure to respect fellow residents etc.
The Moderator will forward to the Chairman of the BHRA Committee messages that are potentially inappropriate. If the Chairman feels it appropriate the email may be placed for consideration at the next BHRA Committee meeting. Where appropriate a reply to these ‘quarantined emails’ will be made by the Chairman or the posting will be released to the list.
Messages that are addressed to the Committee will be forwarded to the Committee by the Moderator. These messages will be reviewed and action determined at the next available Committee meeting by the Committee.
The Moderator will reject all other messages making no response to the sender.
Anyone who does not adhere to this Comment and Moderation Policy may be restricted from making future posting of messages.
Individuals unhappy with the moderation policy or its implementation have the option of posting a message to secretary@ballincleaheights.org or officers@ballincleaheights.org
