In addition contributions have been made on an anonymous basis by a number of residents. A total of ninety-four contributions have been received to date.
As of 9 December 2006, a total of €15,939 had been raised to support the development of Ballinclea Park. The fund consists of contributions from residents, grants, and the proceeds of the Fun Quiz in 2003, 2004 & 2005.
The fund stands at €9,382 after €6,557 disbursements to date on Park improvements.
Two grants have been received:
- For our Labyrinth, a community art grant of €800 from DLRCoCo.
- For our compost recycling project, an environmental grant of €600 from DLRCoCo and the Department of the Environment.
